Survey Reports

Modern technology has enabled us to produce comprehensive and detailed reports which we can normally (dependent on size and location of vessel) email to Clients 24 hours after completion of survey, hard copies then follow by post. The use of high tech computer equipment and voice recognition software has helped bring about this highly appreciated timescale.

During our thorough surveys detailed high resolution digital photographs are taken. These photographs can then be included in the report at the discretion of the Surveyor. Use of a digital camera can be extremely beneficial when producing Damage Survey Reports. With surveys on larger vessels carried out over several days, interim reports can be produced and emailed on a daily basis if required.

When undertaking pre-purchase surveys, recommendations regarding necessary repairs to the vessel surveyed are detailed in the report and are graduated against a repair timescale according to their importance. Estimated costs are included for replacement or repair of any major items and this is often of considerable value when negotiating a purchase price.
