NOTES
It is of significant importance that vessels be properly prepared for survey and depending on the type of survey to be carried out the following points require attention before the date of examination:
- All equipment and gear to be in the same place as the vessel and property laid out for easy examination.
- Loose or portable gear and personal equipment to be removed from the vessel, floor hatches removed and bilges fully drained.
- Assistance to be available if required for the purpose of dismantling and withdrawal of fastenings, etc. at expense of client and at discretion of surveyor.
